The terms that govern your access to our certifications, learning platform and services.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Certifications.ac, the Global Leadership Institute learning management system (LMS), and all related certifications, content and services (together, the “Services”). By accessing the website, enrolling in a certification, or using the LMS, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Global Leadership Institute (“GLI”) provides professional certifications, structured online courses, examinations, and verifiable digital certificates. Our catalogue includes over 1,990 certifications across 15 specialist fields. GLI is NITA-accredited and ISO 21001:2025 certified.
You must provide accurate, current and complete information when you enrol and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold or transferred.
Access to a certification’s learning content, examination and certificate is granted once your enrolment is confirmed and payment is verified. Access is granted for the specific certification you enrol in; enrolling in one certification does not grant access to any other. Course outlines may be publicly viewable, but full lesson content, examinations and certificates are available only to enrolled, verified learners.
To protect the rigour and credibility of our credentials, the LMS applies a learning-pace policy under which a learner may complete a limited number of modules within a rolling weekly period across all their certifications. You agree to complete assessments honestly and independently. Cheating, impersonation, sharing examination content, or any attempt to obtain a certificate without genuinely completing the programme is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension, revocation of certificates, and denial of future services.
Fees for each certification are displayed at the point of enrolment. Payments are processed securely through our authorised payment partners, including Paystack, mobile-money (M-Pesa Paybill 222111) and bank transfer (Family Bank Kenya). You agree to provide valid payment information and authorise us to charge the applicable fees. Prices may vary by market and are subject to change, but changes do not affect enrolments already completed.
Upon successfully completing all required lessons and passing the final examination, you will receive a digital certificate bearing a unique Certificate ID that can be independently verified through our verification page. Certificates remain the property of GLI in respect of their design and marks, and are issued to you as evidence of your achievement. GLI reserves the right to revoke a certificate obtained through fraud, misrepresentation or breach of these Terms.
All content within the Services — including course materials, text, graphics, logos, the GLI name and marks, certificate designs, and software — is owned by or licensed to Global Leadership Institute and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may access and use the content solely for your own learning. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, resell or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
You agree not to: use the Services for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the LMS, other accounts, or our systems; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services; upload malicious code; scrape or harvest data; or misrepresent your affiliation with GLI. We may suspend or terminate access for any breach.
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work hard to deliver high-quality, accurate and up-to-date content, we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content will meet every specific requirement. Completion of a certification does not guarantee employment, promotion or any particular professional outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Global Leadership Institute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability in connection with any certification shall not exceed the amount you paid for that certification.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms, engage in academic dishonesty, or use the Services in a way that harms GLI, other learners, or third parties. You may stop using the Services at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kenya, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
